The Lake Home & Cabin Show is here!

The Lake Home and Cabin Show, being held at the Minneapolis Convention Center, begins this afternoon at 2 p.m. and is open until 8 p.m. tonight, Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We hope you are among the many who are returning to the show or coming for the first time! If you’re new and curious who and what you’ll find, here are some interesting statistics from last year’s Minneapolis Lake Home & Cabin Show attendee’s:

83% attended the show to get new ideas and buy items for their second homes.
60% of attendees own a second home and the other 40% are looking to buy!
52% of attendees who own cabins own them in Wisconsin; 33% in Minnesota; 15% other Midwest states.

There is something for everyone at this show. The cold snap we woke up to this morning makes for the perfect time to head indoors, grab a bite to eat and explore this expo of all things lake (and summer!)

The Winter 2012 Edition of our Heart of the Lakes Property Portfolio is now on shelves and in the mail to many. Would you like a copy? Let us know!

Many sellers chose to remove their properties from the market during the cold winter months for various reasons, but we believe there is great reason to keep it listed: less competition, buyers needing to move due to job and life changes, and with interest rates still low… if you were thinking about buying, now would be the time! This edition is 56 pages, and our inventory levels are nearly as high as peak summer. It’s been a mild winter to say the least, so these sellers absolutely have their best foot forward! We’re ready for a great year helping buyers and sellers in the Heart of the Lakes area. Maybe we can answer a question or two for you!
